A simple recipe that will blow everyone’s mind — a real Christmas summery treat that anyone can throw together. Serve these incredible little morsels as a perfect warm canapé, either at your bring-a-plate pre-Christmas drinks, or on Christmas day afternoon with a glass of bubbles.
Ingredients
4 fresh peaches
250g goat’s cheese or a soft chevre
2 tablespoons cream cheese
8 fat slices of prosciutto, halved
To garnish
Liquid honey
¼ cup Turkish Tea Shop pistachio and rose dukkah
Directions
Preheat the oven to 200ºC fan bake.
Quarter your fresh peaches, remove the stone.
In a food processor, blend the goat’s cheese and cream cheese until smooth.
Place the mixture in a piping bag and pipe into the quartered peaches.
Wrap the peach quarters in a slice of prosciutto.
Pop the peaches onto a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes, the cheese will be gooey and the prosciutto a little crisp.
Drizzle the baked peaches with honey and sprinkle with Turkish Tea Shop.
