Enjoy the ultimate comfort with our Sausage & Broccoli Gnocchi. Tender gnocchi, savoury sausage, and crisp broccoli come together in a deliciously simple sauce. Perfect for a hearty, weeknight meal that’s both satisfying and easy to make.
Ingredients
1 packet gnocchi (Rana is our favourite brand)
6 pork sausages
3 tbsp Cacio e Pepe butter
1 head broccoli
100g parmesan grated
1 cup reserved water from
cooking gnocchi
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Salt of Aotearoa
Directions
Pop a pot of water on to boil.
Heat a large shallow casserole in a medium heat, and add 2 tbsp Cacio e Pepe butter.
Squeeze sausages from casings, break into chunks, and sear in butter. You can keep these nice and chunky or break down into more of a mince if you like.
Cook gnocchi in boiling water per packet instructions.
Cut broccoli into small florets. Add to water when gnocchi is almost done.
Add 1 cup of gnocchi cooking water to sausages when nearly cooked.
Drain the gnocchi and broccoli and add to sausages.
Drain gnocchi and broccoli, add to sausages. Add lemon juice and Salt of Aotearoa to taste.
Reduce pasta water by half, then stir in parmesan. Add more water for desired sauce consistency. Simmer for 1 minute.
