A super simple, stovetop mac 'n' cheese that kids will love—perfectly creamy and the ideal sidekick to your smoky BBQ meats this summer.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp flour
- 2 1/2 tbsp Fry Yay
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 6 slices burger cheese (I used Dairy Works cheddar slices)
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
-
1 tsp Gateway Salt
-
500g macaroni elbows
Directions
- Prepare the macaroni as per packet instructions.
- While the macaroni is cooking place a medium size pot over a low heat and add the butter.
Once the butter is melted add the Fry Yay and the flour and stir to form a thick paste. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly.
Stir over a medium heat until the sauce starts to bubble and thickens. Cook for a further couple of minutes, stirring constantly so that the sauce doesn't burn on the bottom of the pot.
- Remove from the heat and add the cheese and stir until the cheese is fully melted and combined. Add the Man Grind and stir through.
- Serve as an easy dinner or as a side to your BBQ'd meat. Yum!
