Ingredients
100g Titillating Tandoori Paste
4 large Chicken Thighs (boneless and skinless)
2 tins of Tomatoes
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 cup Cream
2 tsp Sugar
2 onions (chopped)
2 tbsp Butter or Ghee
1 tsp Gateway Salt
Rice to Serve
Directions
Prep the Chicken: Slice the chicken into smaller pieces. If you can, let them sit in tandoori paste overnight (or for a few hours) to make them extra tasty!
Blend the Veggies: Mix the onions and tinned tomatoes together in a blender until smooth.
Sizzle the Chicken: Heat the pan and quickly cook the tandoori-coated chicken pieces for 30 seconds on each side. Make sure to ask a grown-up for help with the hot pan!
Simmer the Sauce: Turn the heat down to medium, then add some tomato paste, the blended onion and tomato mix, a pinch of sugar, and your favourite seasoning (like Gateway Salt). Stir it all together!
Make it Creamy: Once the sauce starts bubbling, pour in some cream (or coconut cream if you don’t want dairy). Stir and let it cook gently for about 15 minutes until the chicken is tender and the sauce is thick and creamy.
