Directions

1. Cook your preferred sausage/hot dog, pan fry sausage or simmer a frankfurter.

2. While the sausages are cooking very finely dice the onion and add to a small fry pan with the butter and sauté the onions for 6-7 minutes over a medium heat until lightly golden and starting to caramelise.

3. Remove onions from the heat and stir in the Blow My Coals. Set aside.

4. Cut the hot dog buns down the center and pop in the microwave for 30-45 seconds to steam.

5. Sprinkle a little grated cheese down the center of each steamed hot dog bun followed by a sausage.

6. Too each hot dog with a generous dollop of burger sauce followed by a spoonful of the onion mixture and add a couple of pickles to garnish.
